Inside the Enchanted Beech Forest
A guided walk through the beech forest among ancient trees, hidden clearings, and fairytale-like atmospheres in the heart of the National Park.
Stories from the Beech Forest is a slow and accessible walk designed to immerse yourself in the heart of the woods and observe its details. We walk among ancient beech trees with surprising shapes, silent clearings, and animal tracks, discovering one of the most evocative forests of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. An experience that blends nature, listening, and storytelling.
PROGRAM

Meeting at 09:30 at the designated meeting point. After meeting the guide, we transfer by car to the trailhead. The walk takes place entirely within the beech forest, along comfortable and well-marked paths. The route crosses mature woodland, bright clearings, and sections where beech trees take on unusual shapes, creating an almost fairytale-like atmosphere. During the hike, we stop to observe signs of wildlife, share stories about the forest, and discover the natural value of these woodlands, some of which are part of the ancient beech forests recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the cars at 13.00.
